The Grid integrates with Active Directory’s users, groups and structures to ensure there is no duplicated information that needs to be synced. The Grid will enforce the policies and access controls you already have established. AD resources are granted access to volumes you create, which are then actively enforced throughout your domain controllers/Windows security.

Auto-Pilot is intelligent software distributed throughout the Grid to monitor, manage and protect the Grid. Through GridControl, you first set policies and then add any number of nodes to your network. Auto-Pilot will auto-provision, auto-configure, auto-distribute, auto-expand and auto-heal, eliminating routine tasks and turns emergency events into planned maintenance.
Auto-Pilot also monitors real time alerts to warn administrators of performance or health issues in the Grid. Alerts can be sent via email and logged through WMI to Windows management console. GridControl provides monitoring analytics down to the node level to resolve any issues.
