Are there any restrictions on the size of the grid?
Grid is extremely flexible and can be adapted to any warehouse size. Whether a small warehouse or large industrial hall - our grid can be customised to the specific requirements of your site. Thanks to the modular design, the size of the grid is infinitely scalable. Our team will be happy to advise you on the optimum configuration for your storage space.
What maximum height must be planned for the installation of the grid?
The maximum height depends on the structural conditions and the operational and safety requirements. In addition to the existing ceiling height, fire protection requirements also play an important role.
Sprinkler systems or oxygen reduction systems in particular can influence the usable height and should be taken into account during planning. The maximum height also depends on the weight of the bins. With a load of up to 1200 kg on the lowest bin and a corresponding ABC distribution of items, these factors must be taken into account during planning.

How is the total height of the Gridstore system calculated?
The total height of the system is made up of two main components:
- Individual storage height - This depends on the bin size and the number of stacked bins in the grid.
- Free space for the robots - An additional free space of 1.5 to 2 metres is planned so that the robots can move freely on the grid.

Is the grid also suitable for warehouses with building supports?
Yes, the grid is ideal for existing storage structures and can also be integrated into buildings with support columns. The modular design of the grid makes it possible to customise the arrangement and thus avoid obstacles. We develop a customised solution for you that fully utilises the capacity of your warehouse - without you having to remove existing structures.
What are the technical requirements for installing the grid?
No special structural measures are required to install the grid. However, the floor must be stable and level. The floor should be level per DIN 18202 in order to ensure precise and trouble-free movement of the robots.
Our fitters take care of the quick and uncomplicated installation, which requires only a minimum of tools. We will be happy to discuss details of the power requirements and other technical specifications with you individually.
