While the employee picks or packs from the front bin, the system automatically ensures that subsequent bins are supplied and processed bins are removed. At the same time, the Orbit workstation is also used for storage: New goods can be recorded directly at the workstation and efficiently integrated into the system.

Konzipiert für bis zu 400 Behälter (Link) pro Stunde, bietet der Orbit eine durchgängige Ware-zur-Person (Link)-Lösung, die eine kontinuierliche Bereitstellung der benötigten Artikel direkt am Arbeitsplatz ermöglicht. 

Während der Mitarbeitende aus dem vorderen Behälter kommissioniert oder packt, sorgt das System automatisch dafür, dass nachfolgende Behälter bereitgestellt und abgearbeitete Behälter abtransportiert werden. Gleichzeitig wird der Orbit-Arbeitsplatz auch für die Einlagerung genutzt: Neue Waren können direkt am Arbeitsplatz erfasst und effizient ins System integriert werden.
